Tragic Bus Crash in Uttar Pradesh: In a devastating incident, 18 lives, including that of a child, were lost in a bus crash in Uttar Pradesh, India. The tragic accident occurred as the bus, en route to New Delhi, collided with a tanker carrying milk.

Deep sorrow was expressed by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who described the incident as “heart-wrenching.”

In response to the tragedy, a thorough investigation to determine the causes of the accident was announced by State Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak.

Government Support

Condolences were extended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with the announcement of state compensation for the victims and their families. According to the announcement, relatives of the deceased will receive 200,000 rupees (approximately $2,400), while those injured will be granted 50,000 rupees (approximately $600).
