KAMARUL ARIFFIN APPOINTED AS FULLRICH MALAYSIA CHAIRMAN

Fullrich Malaysia Sdn Bhd (FULLRICH MALAYSIA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Kamarul Ariffin Mohd Jamil as Chairman of FULLRICH MALAYSIA  effective 1st June 2020.

Kamarul Ariffin is no stranger to the financial and banking industry. He was the Chief Executive Officer, Affin Islamic Bank Bhd, from January 2006 to April 2015 before being appointed as Chief Executive Officer of AFFIN Holdings Berhad until March 2020. 

Kamarul Ariffin holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Cambridge and brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the financial, banking and corporate arena.

The financial technology company in a statement today said, “On behalf of the Board of Directors, management and all staff of FULLRICH MALAYSIA, I welcome the appointment of Kamarul Ariffin, who has broad knowledge and exposure of the financial industry.”

 “Given the current difficult period, we believe his leadership will help steer Fullrich through the challenges and achieve its aspiration to transform the company to be among the top-10 fintech companies in the country by 2025.”

 “The Company would also like to convey gratitude to Sun JianWei, who had also served as a Chairman since we started our business in 2017.

 “His leadership, guidance, knowledge, advice, and commitment have greatly benefitted us all,” added the Company.

Under his leadership, the Company has successfully launched two e-wallet application, TaPay, and MSU Mobile.

Meanwhile, the Company is confident that Kamarul’s vast expertise and strong track record will lead Fullrich Malaysia to enormous growth in the next phase of its development.
