Australian Open and STH Japan launch sales of AO Travel World-class travel packages to go on sale from 22 June 2022

STH Japan, the leading provider of sports hospitality and premium spectator experiences in Japan, has announced the official sales launch of Australian Open Travel (“AO Travel”) packages for the Japanese market. AO Travel was established in 2021 as a partnership between Tennis Australia and STH Australia, and is the official global provider for Australian Open travel and premium experiences. AO Travel is an Official Travel Agent for Australian Open 2023 in Japan. 

Sales of AO Travel packages will launch in Japan on 22 June 2022 and will be available for purchase via AO Travel’s dedicated Japan ecommerce site, managed by STH Japan at http://www.ausopentravel.jp  

AO Travel was launched to deliver top-quality travel packages and premium experiences for Australian Open fans and to offer a unique way to experience the iconic event. In Japan, packages have been especially curated to meet the needs of travellers and tennis fans from Japan, and will be managed by STH Japan’s team of travel and hospitality experts.

AO Travel will provide two overall package types, ranging from four to eight days, available for purchase in Japan: 

  1. Fly, Stay & Play Packages: A full travel package where every detail of the experience is managed by the AO Travel team.   
  2. Stay & Play Packages: A flexible package option where customers can book their own flights and combine different packages to custom-build a unique AO experience.  

All AO Travel packages will offer a truly official and unique experience that include:   

  1. Guaranteed AO match tickets 
  2. Quality accommodation, hand-picked for comfort and proximity to Melbourne Park 
  3. On-the-ground concierge services 
  4. Official merchandise
